Conference Objectives

1) Explain the risks that could lead to Traumatic Brain Injury for adults and children participating in sports activities.

2) Discuss the critical importance of identifying the possibility of sports-related injuries during and after play.

3) Compare the emerging and novel therapies that assist persons with Traumatic Brain Injury in recovering
from and coping with their physical and psychological conditions.  (Domain: knowledge/ cognition; Level: Analysis)

4) Evaluate and support strategies for minimizing the incidence and consequences of Traumatic Brain Injury
for sports
