SPEAKER PRESENTATIONS 

Conference Objectives

1) Analyze and explain the expanding opportunities for the treatment and support of persons who experience traumatic brain injury and other neurological impairments. 

2) Demonstrate the importance of promoting social and relational potential consistent with abilities among persons with traumatic brain injury and related neurological challenges.

3) Appraise and critique the community-based services available to brain-injured veterans, home-dwelling brain-injury survivors, and their families. 

4) Devise strategies for enhancing and enriching the quality of life for brain-injury survivors and their families.  
  1. 5) Justify the value of humor and recreational pleasure in promoting life quality for those living under the umbrella of brain injury.
